There!  I said it would happen and it has, summer has arrived.  I should get a job as a sooth-sayer (hag on though, aren’t they supposed to be toothless old hags?). 
I don’t know about you but I am tooooooo hot.  Fat bird and temperatures of more than 27 degrees do not mix well together.
Perhaps an ice-cream is called for or may be even a dip in the fish pond?  Second thoughts I don’t think I could cope with another nasty suck.
The temptation to avail oneself of a body of water in hot weather is some times too tempting and often, in these parts and in weather like this, there is tell of a person drowning after getting into difficulty in old clay pit lakes.
