being ex military, they are usually qualified at NVQ level D32,D33(training and dvelopment)and D34 (Assessment and validation)

Although my initial qual was a C&G 7407 this was almost brushed under the carpet with the intro of NVQ's, but now it appears that C&G are making a comeback.

My understanding was C&G was a course which if passed you gained a qual, whereas an NVQ was awarded after showing months of paperwork and assessments in carrying out your training, and being assessed by an NVQ assessor at intervals for confirmation. Maybe NVQ's could be added to the poll
