Would you like to me a moderator this forum? I believe we need strong moderators to remove any insults and delete posts before they start to flame. However, be warned it is a time consuming and at times a thankless and far from easy task to undertake. But if you are up for the challenge, please put you name forward including any ideas on moving this forum forward.

Can I suggest that the moderators have a "Mod" account set up and they can then be annonnomous (Spelling??). They can also keep their original account and have a "Mod" one to deal with issues officially. I agree with the above too. Medrock and Mrs T would be excellent choices. Maybe Ghostwriter also?

My vote is for Richard from Mediaid His posts are usually well informed and void of personal criticism, which is must as a mod.

I'd agree - create some anonymous Mod accounts - one for each. Might make it a bit more of a pain to moderate, but at least you then know when you've been modded and allows the moderator to keep their own account, identity, and opinions completely separate!

stormer wrote:Richard from Mediaid is an excellent choice! I agree. I am willing to give it my best for an initial 6 months trial but also believe there needs to be clinical mods, again Mrs T, Richard (Mediaid) and Richard (Jonacc) and Dave (PHECTA) have all demonstrated reasoned and balanced postings. I can see the reason behind anonymous mods but personally I am happy to use my own account and name. Paul medrocktraining2009-04-09 18:16:32

As someone who has had issue with Scottydog in the past I think we should all appreciate his full support for this site and committment. I feel he has always acted in what he felt was the best interest of the site even if he has been a little sharp with it. Lets hope he stills contributes to the site.

Would definately second JonAcc and PHECTA. Another suggestion would be Paradude. At least one poster seems to have made the assumption that Scottydog has stepped down, is this correct? TBH, I never had an issue with Scotty, and having met him in person, can say that he's got his head screwed on, and I would be happy for him to continue in the role of moderator (I do think that the team should be expanded, however).

MrsT, Mediaid & JonAcc have my vote - all 3 are professional, knowledgable & highly unlikely to use their position as a means of gaining respect - they have respect due to their behaviour & respect of others who disagree with their own opinion - perhaps 'TheDog' has given them a few lessons!!!!! - not likely as you are all great in your own way, which is what makes you great as a team - best of luck in moderat5ing this forum!!!
