Whitbread PLC is the UK's leading hospitality Company operating award winning hotel, restaurant and coffee shop brands.

Whitbread's Safety & Security Team are responsible for ensuring that appropriate numbers of first aid courses are available for our Team Members to attend. Currently, the bulk of this training is provided by in-house first aid trainers and we are looking for a freelance/self-employed first aid trainer who can support us by providing additional EFAW courses across the South East of the UK. We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic trainer who can deliver high quality and interactive courses  for our Team Members. You will need to be flexible as the courses will be delivered in various venues across the South East region. We estimate that in excess of 30 one day EFAW courses will be delivered by the successful trainer within the next 12 months. For the right person, we have budgeted for circa. £150 per course. Interested persons should PM their CV (including details of their first aid training experience) and contact information.

Successful applicants will be contacted directly with further information.

Sorry but "are you kidding" £150 for a min of 6 hours teaching !, sorry but i reckon your falling well short of the mark on this one.
I contract to a national company and they pay more than this for a half day man handling course.
With all due respect Whitbread PLC what level of trainer do you think you will get for that money>?
If you would like to discuss a sensible figure, feel free to give me a call.

Thanks: 1 times
This will be internal training, so no direct profit!
You may get free coffee - I like Costa Coffee.

The Going rate for a free lance FAW trainer in the North East is £100 - £150 / day.  If it was up here I would jump at it.

I am looking to become a T/A, and as my Voluntary FAid Org. aren't running any despite desperately needing T/As I am looking to go freelance, especially as I have been asked to run courses, people knowing I am an experienced FA.

If you can help let me know :)

It is a very good idea, but the implementation is slightly heavier for me...
