Well I thoroughly enjoyed it!! I got to meet lots of people - including you GRAZ - who I've typed messages to but had never met or spoken to before.

It was a great pleasure to meet you all.

Sincere regards

Dannie Houlden

The conference was superb, although a bit hectic at times for the HSE representatives. It was great to see such a large body of first aid trainers and providers getting together and exchanging ideas in the biggest event of this kind for many years.

Speaking personally I think I had a very productive day getting lots of feedback on the HSE discussion document. Some of it was negative, as I would expect, but what surprised me most was the large number of practical suggestions on how we could improve the ideas outlined in the document. All of this will be fed back into our deliberations, but please keep the questionnaires flowing in as well.

All credit is due to Admin, Debs, Chunkymedicdan and Ratty for their organisation of the event. I look forward to the next one.

Yes indeed I thoroughly enjoyed the conference and good to make new acquaintances. It would have been easier to put faces to names though if we had all displayed our 'nicknames' on our badges - maybe an idea for the next one?

Many thanks to the organising team - I was most impressed at how smoothly it all seemed to go - a big well done and thanks to you!

It has been said that I look like the cold feet star (John Thompson)... unfortunately I didn't get that particular co-star - but I do have a pretty damn good looking wife in real life!!!

The conference was great and I really enjoyed it.

I think it would have been better as a two day event especially now with the discussion document. I did not think we had enough Q and A time and I am sure Ian and more especially Richard would have gained a lot more info from us all had we not been so limited to time.

Having said that I have to say I take my hat of to Richard he was really up against it with all of us wanting answers.

With regard to exhibitors not much time to look properly but seem to remember too many of the same thing. Cas sim was excellent though

Finally a big thanks to you all great event look forward to next year special thanks to Debs, Mike and Dannie especially on first night when you were all so busy. ?????What happened to scottydog?????????????????????????????

Thanks again

Jackie

I would have loved to been there, but unfortunately, I was busy training.
However due to the location I would have found the journey difficult & lengthy anyway.

Is there any possibility that a future conference could be held in Scotland ?
There are hundreds of First aid companies here who would have sent representatives had it been more accessible to us.

Just a thought !!
