Ive been asked by a mate to do a medic job for him in the next couple of weeks.

Basically its turn up in my car, provide my own gear, and sit (probably in my car to stay dry!) and wait for the stunt to be fimed (Low budget film, so im not getting paid), then i can go.  If it goes wrong to provide initial assistance before the NHS boys and girls turn up....

Now would this require CQC registration? Im confused as to whether this, (or future similars with payment) would require CQC registration or not?

Probably not, but then if you ask CQC help-line they should be able to confirm this. However, from experience, the answer you get is likely to vary depending on who picks up your call.

However, suggest you also look at the current posts under insurance re HPC

Make sure you have other aspects covered, like your malpractice insurance, or whether you are covered by the film company insurance
