If the purpose is to make a profit then don't bother!! If you are going to be using an ambulance which most venues will specify then you will need to register with the CQC. Search on the web regarding this. Its a nightmare! You will need training, equipment, insurance, vehicle??, cqc??, The insurance is quite cheap for basic event cover, search the web, there are lots of companies doing this for not a lot of money, just use one which you have heard the name of! Vehicle insurance will be around £800 per vehicle. CQC is £800 per year plus tens of thousands spent needlessly on red tape. All I can say is good luck, you'll need it!

Hi John I have started a small private first aid business, I started to look into it last year and felt that I had a good area with lots of events,



My god how wrong I was at thinking that my service will pick up the work.



I have found that one of the horse events use club members who are nurses/medics



The local BMX club use 2 emt's who have something to do with the club



And the one event that i was hoping to pick up to get me going are happy with who they useing and blew me out.



I have put a lot of work in and have only just got my first gig and thats out of my area, All i want is enough work to cover my costs to start with, with luck my reputation will bring in more work.

My area is Lancashire but have , what area are you covering maybe we can help each other out if our business is not in conflict, eaven if it's only ideas and finding good insurance etc it all helps.
