The guys at First Response Supplies have just delivered me the new style Epipen Trainers.  They have them at £8.95 plus VAT each.  I think they sell on Amazon as well but its a little dearer.

Lots of people on my courses have been asking about the new Epipen's so its good to finally have some to demonstrate.

Had a look on their website and they claim "first in the country"

I had these over a year ago.

£8.95?  Plus VAT, plus basic post, brings it to nearly £18.00.

I don't think so!!!

When i read about the new epi pens, i went onto www.jext.co.uk and had a look at them. After looking at the web page i contacted the jext people telling them i had purchased epi pens before and the fact i was a first aid trainer etc etc, low and behold they volunteered to post me 2 out first class post free of charge, winner..... 2 days later they arrived. Who's the man now?

SERIOUSLY...you guys are not for real...I posted about the new JEXT MONTHS ago...& that trainer devices were free (depending on qualifications) & now suddenly, a newbie to the site pops up, & everyone wants one & is willing to pay for a free product.

FOR THE RECORD I DO NOT LIE - (merely repeat what I have been told by the powers that be), nor does it mean it's applicable to your service, HOWEVER, I do not make stuff up, & am always guided by the latest research & am as up to date as it is possible to be

The Jext pen and the new Epi-Pen are totally different devices. Both have the removable cap and the needle guard that extends when withdrawing the device after use, but the pens are actually a different shape. The Jext pen is round (like the old Epi-Pen) but the new Epi-Pen is flatter.

Just for information.

I have an abundance of auto-inject training devices, I have Epi-pens new and old style, Jext and Anapens.

Total cost £0.

If you are a reputable training provider all the above manufacturers are more than willing to send FOC devices for training.
