Rank: Newbie Groups: Registered, Registered Users, Subscribers Joined: 18/04/2012(UTC) Posts: 3 Points: 9 Location: United Kingdom		I currently volunteer for St John Ambulance but my division leader has made her dislike of me all too obvious and I am not free to join the other division on their training night. I'd still like to cover events but can anyone tell me of companies that pay first aiders for event cover please?

There are a lot of companies out there providing first aid cover at events, (from what I see, a lot seem to have been set up by disgruntled SJA members) But some are good, some are bad, some are just dangerous. You don't say where you are, but a trawl through the web may help.

What area are you in? We pay for event cover, first aiders once CRB checked and cleared are paid between £6.75 and £10 per hour depending upon the event.

Keep a eye out on the forum for work, but try to get plenty of events in with your division until you find some regular work. If you give away your location I feel sure you will get someone contact you who needs staff, good luck anyway.

You just need to have a good luck around the forum. If you don’t find what you are looking for put a search on google for a provider in your area and see who’s local to you, enjoy yourself finding the best provider for you good luck
