My hate is when a big company plays with you thinking that just because you are a little fish they can ignore you and not return your call until it pleases them.

Maybe I will tell that big company that if that is the way they do business it’s no surprise the economy is bust.

Never mind the banks helping small business how about a little curtsey from the big boys

I have had the same problem..........i was even more miffed when the big boss who said they were so interested in us gave us his email for me to later discover he had given it wrong and im presuming on purpose as when i located his real email, thanks to someone who works in the company he never responed.

Arrogance seems to be a big thing at the moment.

Either that or I am managing to find them all in my pond.

Hope you got everything sorted out :-)

I work for a large multinational company (big business) From my own perspective I struggle to reply to everyone. Just because we are big doesn't necessarily mean we have more time.

I understand that big business cant reply to anything and everything I think we all do, however  when a price has been approved, your team has been booked, you just need conformation from the big cheese, and the event is looming it is so frustrating.

I have myself worked in big companies and find them to be very slow at reacting to situations, maybe because they have to have a meeting about the issue and state in the minutes who is going to do what and in what time framework.

In other countries they just get on and fix the problem and move on to the next task,

Just my moan and groan

Thanks for the reply’s

Just an update for Jadestlou and anyone reading this, I got the gig in the end I was about to send a ultimatum when I got conformation of the booking.

Glad I held off I think that this might be a good event for me, I have had the offer of more work from the event organiser and hope for work from the venue owners along the way. Well it’s fingers crossed anyway.

Latest update I got a second booking from the event organiser and look like I will get other bookings from him, however the event venue has not been in contact, I hope to meet with the venue manager soon to work on building some bookings.
