Just a question if anyone has had experience of the FPOS and what they thought of the course as one for updating skills. I have to update and go for the Trauma add on for work!

I have heard of good & bad FPOS courses depending on who is teaching it.

To echo the above it pretty much depends on who is teaching it, the content isnt really any difference from what you would learn on standard first aid courses, perhaps a bit different if your going for the optional modules like o2, bvm, adjucts, suction and so on but again the contents similar to any other course teaching the subjects.

The training provider will make or break the course really, should be enjoyable.

The course was excellent and would recommend as a skills update, subjects covered spinal board, O2, pulse oximitors, bag and mask two person CPR with de-fib, Casualty extraction from RTA and a few more bits. I can not remember a course with so much practical, which for me was superb!

As a training provider, I was looking to register a couple of military guys (with FPOS) as assessors for my company. The organisation that I'm licensed under would not accept FPOS and consequently I couldn't use them. Frustrating.
