I know that if you run a FAW course the contact time is for 18 hours, but here's the question - if you are running the course for 2,3 or 4 people, would you reasonably stretch out the time to meet the 18 hours requirement? 18 hours is a sufficient timeframe if you have a full group, but with a smaller group surely the reduction in time taken in discussion, group activities etc (which is a given when numbers are lower) means that 18 hours is difficult to fulfill without unnecessary waffle? I only ask, because I recently ran a small group course and found it difficult to meet the time. Thoughts?

I really like courses with small numbers as there is more time to answer questions, allow a little digression and let the candidates go away really feeling they got value for money



For the same reason, I like doing requals with people who have done several before because it gives an opportunity to extend/expand their knowledge and understanding rather than just same old, same old
