And I'm not having a dig, before anyone accuses me of it. We're in you're neck of the woods and always looking for good firms to sub work to, BUT with all the CQC rules it's not worth us dealing with any non CQC firms. We've just had our first formal post-registration inspection (we're the only Westcountry firm that has had one so far) the Inspectors told us we will leave ourselves open to criticism if we sub work to any non-CQC registered company as we could be held liable for anything they do under our contract.

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Registered Users, Subscribers Joined: 27/05/2011(UTC) Posts: 1,258 Points: 3,783		Hi Matt, thanks for the interest, No, we are not CQC as we dont operate in that area of CQC registration, we are only a volunteer group who dont have any mode of Patient transport facilities and we dont wish to go in that direction. We do have a vehicle for events but only as a first aid post. We generaly only cover smaller events and dont go for the large events if we can avoid doing so as we dont supply a "Paramedic" skill level. If this is required, then we hand it over to the more suitable provider, please let me have your details if you supply this type of service and I will pass on your details to any prospective clients. Congrats on your Registration, I know it isnt that straight forward to attain most of the time, I hope you continue to do well. Cheers.
