Hi all can anybody tell me if pallet wrap/srink wrap can be used on burns i know cling film can be used but dose pallet/shrink wrap contain chemicals that may interact with the burn or surrounding tissue

My initial investigations suggest that this is the same stuff although cling film is food safe, this definition normally suggests it is produced in a cleaner environment. Hope that helps.

Hi David,
In an emergency any CLEAN polythene/plastic sheeting can do.
If a cling type material DO NOT wrap around but lay over the area and tab around the edges thus avoiding a constricting.
