I want to develop a small team to cover a rugby event in Preston 4 or so staff.

It is over 2 hours every Saturday for the season 37 games

The organiser requires 2 first aiders to add to his medical team

This is a good opportunity to gain experience working alongside the team Doctor and quailed Physiotherapists.

Well I have told the organiser that I will cover the event for a month, this will give me the opportunity to find a team or leave it for a more established provider.

37 weeks is a huge undertaking

Still looking for a few staff for the rugby in Preston its only 2hrs so I need local people, if you hold a first aid certificate and want to put it to good use then this event is for you.

This is a good opportunity to get into event first aid and build on your knowledge and skill. Why not join the team.

Calling all first aiders in the Preston Lancashire area.

We now have a team of 4/5 doing this event on a rota system and it seems to be working well so far.

However with the dark horrible winter just around the corner (cough cough sneeze) I am still looking for some casual staff to fill in now and then.

Why not join the team  firstaidplus@hotmail.co.uk

Thank You

Just a quick update for anyone interested we have just about provided one month at this event and all has gone well so far, the organiser is extremely pleased with our service and reliability something we pride ourselves on.

We have agreed to provide cover next month and will commit to the event on a monthly basis, we have one maybe 2 extra casual staff but might need more to keep up with demand.

So far we have not come up with any major problems at this event; I did have some short lived panic when I had an enquiry about a new event but the event was a step to far at this time.

Thank you to all who has helped me out in the past with your time and advice, I hope to find more staff and more work over the coming months.

Still looking for a few bank staff for the rugby in Preston, Its only 2 hours & working alongside a regular first aider & the clubs own medical team.

It’s a good way to support local sport and gain good hands on experience

With 2013 just around the corner and maybe more bookings coming in it will be a good way of getting your foot in the door

Come on guys!

Just to back John up - I answered his call to arms earlier this year and I am really enjoying the rugby and other events.  I have gained more practical expereince and made some new friends in the process.

Go on - you might just enjoy it!
