Does anyone have any experience of the CPR ezy device?  Someone suggested that these might be a good buy but I would appreciate any thoughts or advice anyone has.

Its a device you place on the chest to guide you with the rate and depth of compressions. We do have one AED for quite a large split site but at the moment its an expensive dust collector due to training issues.

Thanks: 1 times
I have seen these devices and seem to be a very good idea. One thing that was covered in the FAF Conference this year was the problem in obtaining and maintaining good chest compressions. This device give visual and audio feedback assisting in this goal. They can also be used as a training aid. Not sure of the price but I would suggest that it's cost is acceptable if you look at it in terms of both CPR device and as an in-house training aid.

I believe this question was raised previously. I recall responding that after the FAF conference, I was moved to purchase one to improve the quality of compression rates and depths.

Our assessors have reported that they feel the quality of CPR performance has improved in recent courses, and I believe this to be due to the way we have changed the training methods, incorporating using a CPR-Eezy for part of that
