Does first aid cafe and AOFA intend to hold a conference next year? I would like to attend but have always been busy in previous years. If early notice could be given perhaps more could attend. What do others feel?

Totally agree..... especially if it is on a "school day" as many of us book work then.

No.... I have been told indirectly it was at Kettering, howevere I was not clear if it was the Friday or Saturday. I try not to mislead when I have some info..... though I did discuss this about 2 weeks ago, briefly as I spoke to Da about something else Dave will let everyone know when the programme is confirmed, I guess

I would of thought the early people knew the date the more woud be able to book and attend. The agenda could be given at a later date. I went to the FAWC and the had a very good private tax advisor who taked about Tax, NI, travel/milage and company car benefit. Very useful and maybe this time owing to changes.

With respect, may I worry about 1 at a time please, 2011 is too far off for me to be able to do much about right now! I am not on the AOFA board and can only suggest so much!

Unfortunately I am at work - but it is also the Easter School holidays, so not sure whether that will be better for the conference or not.
We have someone local who is out in Haiti at the moment, works for the local PCT and a Disaster Organisation - paramedic.MrsT2010-01-19 14:56:29

Hi Mrs T I’m likewise concerned that it’s within the Easter period. But we are once again tying up with Life Connections conferences so the date was not my first choice. Thanks for the info re. Haiti. I have asked Basics to see if one of their staff currently out there will speak. But a fallback position is useful
